Rules of Survival
Rules of Survival is a battle royale game where players must be the last person standing to win. The game takes place on a deserted island, and players can loot buildings and other areas to get weapons, armor, and accessories. The island slowly shrinks over time and if you’re caught outside the playable area (the “safe zone”) for too long, you will take damage. Players can fight alone or in teams of up to four people.
The game has three modes: Solo, Duo, and Squad. In Solo mode, every player is fighting for themselves. In Duo mode, two players play together as a team against other teams of two. In Squad mode, four players play together in teams of up to four players against other teams of four. In all modes, up to 120 players are on the map at once. Players are dropped onto the map by plane as they parachute in and start looting as soon as they land.
There are many different kinds of weapons in Rules of Survival; pistols and SMGs for close-range combat, shotguns for mid-range combat, rifles for long-range combat, sniper rifles for extreme long-range combat, and melee weapons for no-range combat (but mostly close-range).
According to Pocket Gamer Rules of Survival, the game was released as a beta in November 2017 and quickly garnered attention, with 230 million players worldwide as of October 2018. During the month of April, the most popular game in the Philippines (according to data from the App Store and Google Play) was NetEase’s Rules of Survival. Just like the 230 million players, Myrtle Sarrosa also became fond of playing Rules of Survival.
