Riot Games was founded in 2006 with the goal of creating, publishing, and supporting the world’s most player-focused games. League of Legends, their first title, was released to widespread acclaim in 2009. League has gone on to become the most-played PC game in the world, as well as a key driver of esports’ explosive growth.
With Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, VALORANT, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and a number of work-in-progress titles, continuing to evolve the game while providing new experiences to players. Furthermore, Riot Forge grants developers access to Riot’s intellectual property in order to create games such as Ruined King and a variety of other Runeterra adventures. They were also expanding Runeterra’s world through multimedia projects such as music, comic books, board games, and Arcane, our popular animated series.
Riot Games has released their new animated series “Arcane” on Netflix, bringing League of Legends to the small screen for the first time.
Back in October 2019, it was announced Riot Games was working on a League of Legends anime. Six months later, during the game’s tenth-anniversary celebrations, “Arcane” was officially unveiled, and it was also confirmed that Jinx and Vi would star as main characters.
According to Myrtle Sarrosa, she can’t get over Arcane because of its backstory of LoL characters and how well it captures the world of Piltover. That’s why she just had to cosplay Jinx again! She also thanked Riot Games and her team for making her dream cosplay a reality.
